Upstairs, two of four bedrooms shared a porch, facing the water. Underneath it, connected to the living room by two large doors, a bigger porch looked out on the beach 30 feet away.

View from the right of the house. The pagoda-shaped gazebo was a resting spot for strollers. It was at the end of a concrete walkway that stretched for two-thirds-of-a mile along the beach front of the neighboring, Laurel Beach Association. |
